We are so excited to have announced the sailing of the second annual Inception at Sea Spring Break Cruise with our partners at The Groove Cruise. Inception at Sea 2016 went off without a hitch, and we cannot wait to share with you all that is in store for Inception at Sea 2017.

Inception at Sea 2017 is sailing March 13-17, 2017 from Miami, Florida to Nassau and CocoCay, Bahamas.

Keep reading for the answers to all of the common questions we have received about Inception at Sea and we’ll see you on board the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas on March 13, 2017 for 96 hours of non-stop music alongside 2700 of your closest friends, featuring the world’s top DJs & artists, themed parties every day and night, and two ports of call; Nassau, and CocoCay.




Can I go on Inception at Sea if I’m from the UK?

YES! You can book your adventure aboard Inception at Sea regardless of what country you’re from.

What’s included in the price of this trip?

Included in the price of this trip is your cabin accommodations on boad the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas, all meals on board the ship, all themed day and night events, all Inception at Sea performances featuring the best DJs & artists in the world, a private party on shore at CocoCay, Bahamas, and a second port of call in Nassau, Bahamas.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes, there are a couple payment plan options available…


  • $100 per person deposit is due at the time of booking for all Interior, Ocean view and Balcony cabins. $200 is due for single occupancy cabins.
  • $200 per person deposit is due at the time of booking for Suites. $400 deposit is due for single-occupancy suites.


Your remaining cabin balance will be split into equal monthly payments beginning the first of the month after your initial deposit is paid, with final balance due no later than January 1, 2017.

Your monthly payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on file. If you need to make any changes to your payment plan dates, or credit card, please contact us prior to your due date.

  • $100 per person deposit is due at the time of booking for all Interior, Oceanview and Balcony cabins. $200 is due for single occupancy cabins.
  • $200 per person deposit is due at the time of booking for Suites. $400 deposit is due for single-occupancy suites.

Do you have to be a certain age for Inception at Sea?

Inception at Sea is an 18+ event. All travelers must be at least 18 years old by March 13, 2017.

Do you have to be a student to go on Inception at Sea?

NO! You do not have to be a student. In fact, Inception at Sea is the perfect cruise for young professionals, recent grads, and grad students who are looking for an epic getaway with your friends. Plan that unforgettable reunion with high school or college friends that you’ve been waiting for!

Are there group discounts?

Call the StudentCity office at 888-777-4642 to speak with a representative about current deals. We want to get you ALL hooked up for Inception at Sea, so give us a call right away before cabins sell out!

Is there any way to travel for free, like other StudentCity trips?

YES! We have a slightly different Group Organizer incentive for Inception at Sea than for our other trips, and it’s pretty sweet. Here’s what you get as a Group Organizer for Inception at Sea 2017:


Terms of Commission, Free Trips, and Other Perks:

  • Free Trip is earned when 16 trips have been sold (17th trip is free)
  • Drinks Packages are only attainable for Group Organizers who are 21+
  • VIP Status includes priority boarding and VIP Party on board
  • MVP Status includes cabin upgrade (if available)
  • Per person commission is not retroactive upon reaching higher level. New commission level starts upon reaching the number of people sold.
  • The value of the Free Trip is based on the average of 16 most expensive trips sold by the Affiliate (excluding options and taxes).
  • Free Trip cannot exceed the Group Organizer trip price (excluding options and taxes).
  • Trips are non-transferable to other Affiliates and travelers.
  • Any commission paid herein shall be earned when a trip is sold. A trip is considered sold and commissionable if paid in full by a traveler and such traveler is “active” (i.e. the trip hasn’t been canceled.)

Is Inception at Sea 2017 all-inclusive?

No, Inception at Sea 2017 is technically not all-inclusive, but we’ve created some ways around that! We have customized two drinks packages that Inception Cruisers who are 21+ may add onto their accounts anytime before sailing. Here’s a little more about the different drinks packages…

$50 per person per day + 18% gratuity
(Only $236 for the entire week!)

Each day will feature a new drink that is unlimited and included in the Select Drinks Package. For example; Bahama Mama, Margarita, Sex on the Beach, etc.

Is there anything happening in the Bahamas?

YES! We will be going to CocoCay and Nassau, Bahamas during Inception at Sea 2017. Inception Cruisers will be the only people on the island and we will be hosting a private event with top-tier talent! In Nassau, Bahamas, feel free to get out and explore all that this amazing country has to offer…from beautiful beaches, to authentic restaurants, the straw market, and other tourist hotspots. You may also choose to stay on the ship here in Nassau, where we will be throwing one of our legendary Inception at Sea pool parties right on the pool deck all day long!

Do we have to get our own way back to the states?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! Everyone will be traveling back to Miami on board the Enchantment of the Seas. on March 17th, aka the saddest day of the year…

How many people can stay in each room?

Room occupancy varies and many cabins can fit up to 4 people. We encourage groups to book as early as possible to avoid cabins selling out and to get the sickest accommodations available. Some suits can hold more than 4 people. Will we ever be off the ship overnight?

NO! You will always be on board the ship overnight, whether or not you’ll be sleeping overnight is the real question!
