Matt Damon attended Harvard University While celebrity and education do not always go hand-in-hand, some students searching for the perfect fit might be interested to know where some of the biggest names in show business attained their degrees.

Potential Ivy Leaguers admits might be pleased to know that Matt Damon and Natalie Portman attended Harvard University, while Emma Watson of “Harry Potter” fame is currently studying literature at Brown University.

Students interested in science might be interested to note that “Punk’d” star Ashton Kutcher attended University of Iowa with a major in Biochemical Engineering. He learned a valuable lesson too, “I partied hard for the first three months of college. Then I saw my (grade point average) start to take a nosedive and had to get it back on track,” he tells Contact Music.

Funny woman Tina Fey studied theatre at the University of Virginia, while comedian Adam Sandler got his masters from New York University’s Tisch School of Arts.

Brad Pitt pursued journalism before becoming a major celebrity at the University of Missouri. Will Ferrell of “Anchorman” fame attended the University of Southern California.
