This past weekend StudentCity Representatives went down to Cancun, Mexico as a reward for their hard work and dedication that led them to sell 100+ trips from Sept. 1st through Nov. 1st for Spring Break 2010!
It was quite the adventure for the Reps and full-time employees of StudentCity, and the Hurricane that lasted all weekend made their already busy schedule even more compact with unpredictable events. Here are just some of the highlights to this past weekend.

newly added and renovated Solymar which was requested by the sales team. After their tour of the hotels and getting the exclusive tour of the ME Suite, they headed to the oh so fabulous Pat O’Briens for dinner and many, many drinks, Basic, and The City; where they were given bottle after bottle, to the point where they were giving them away!
Check out this video of our boy Brad, our U. Maryland’s Rep. He lost the chugging challenge and was put to work in Patty O’s mascot attire. Poor guy couldn’t see out of the darn thing, but he worked it. That’s how we do it here at StudentCity; we make the best out of anything and everything. None of this would not have happened without or man though, Carlos M del C, the manager of Pat O’Briens. So if you get the chance when you’re down in Cancun (which you better), make sure to say hello to Carlos, he’s quite the guy.
Saturday was quite an epic day as well, despite the Hurricane craziness. The day of course was spent at the all-inclusive Oasis where they spent their days drinking, eating and yes even swimming (when, safe). After the day events, they were told to head down to the lobby around 7:30 for a lovely surprise. Once all were gathered around, Jacqui made a phone call (via speakerphone) to announce that because of their amazing efforts and dedication to the company that there is an ESCALADE LIMO waiting for them at the doorstep to mosey around Cancun with! She extended her thanks personally and made sure to tell them to have a drink on her! All the kids were absolutely hysterical when Jacqui made the announcement and ran outside to see it in all its glory. They all jumped into the limo, champagne in hand, and blasted DJ TEECEE to get their hearts pumpin.
Their first couple stops were Daddy O’s and Bulldog, where they all got down and dirty, especially our man THORPEDO. Check out this video but don’t make fun. Okay, well maybe just a little bit. After such ridiculousness, they hit up Daddy O’s, Bulldog and the Ice Lounge.

I’ve got to say, if you’ve never been to the Ice Lounge under Bulldog you gotta go check it out, the place looks exactly how it sounds… all ice (couches, tables, the works).
You could say that life was so simple and easy that weekend. That’s what Cancun is all about, letting go of all life’s obstacles and just have an amazing time. People describe it as a fantasy land where all you do is party and let go of all your inhibitions. It doesn’t get any better than that.
